In what year did you begin working in the real estate industry as a REALTOR®?
Why do you like working in the real estate industry?
I love people and I love to serve others. My career in real state has afforded me this opportunity and like leading buyers and sellers to a satisfied finish.
In what year did you become affiliated with Semonin Realtors®?
Why do you choose to affiliate your business with Semonin?
There are several reasons which can be summed up in Semonin's Core Values which line up very well with my Christian values. Semonin's vision to Lead differently, to Teach relentlessly, to Serve passionately is also my vision. I have also adopted Semonin's purpose which is to provide professional guidance through the complex process of real estate transactions.
What sets you apart from other REALTORS®? What are your greatest strengths as a real estate agent?
I believe my greatest strength is my genuine interest in my clients' desires. Clients can tell I wish to fulfill their dreams by the way I engage them. I am able to form a working relationship easily, which often results into a lasting friendship.
What do you do to stay up-to-date/knowledgeable about the real estate industry?
I read my REALTOR magazines and other Marketoly emails pertaining to the market. However, my best tool for keeping informed comes from Semonin who offers so many classes to educate and keep me abreast of what's going on in the real estate industry and to practice in a lawful way.
What did you do before you began working in real estate? Has anything you learned on that/those jobs helped you with your real estate business?
Before I entered the real estate season of my life, I was a social worker in a Nursing Care Facility which I thoroughly enjoyed. I learned to become a good listener and I learned patience. I was responsible for protecting the patient's rights once they were admitted. I have a passion for the elder population and that carries over into my real estate life and explains why I have a SRES designation. I still enjoy working with seniors.
Are you involved in any trade/civic or community organizations?
I am a member of Stonecroft Ministries which is an outreach ministry striving to meet women where they are...as they are. I am a BSF (Bible Study Fellowship)group leader where we study God's Word and minister to the lost and hopeless in the community. I oversee a ministry by the name of Friend of God Servants as we provide dinner meals for one discharged from the hospital and recuperating at home. I also serve at my Green Castle Baptist Church in Outreach and In-reach ministries in serving the hungry, the sick, and the homeless, and the lost.
Tell us about your immediate family.
I love my Family! Raymond is my husband of 22 years and together, we have 7 children and 18 grandchildren. We do enjoy spending time together and we especially enjoy "meal times" and party times. When we all come together on Sundays and holidays, it is quite a party. Raymond and I enjoy our grandchildren and especially attending their ball games and cheer competitions! Oh, and babysitting!
What do you enjoy doing in your free time? Why do you enjoy this?
I enjoy babysitting, playing, and loving on my grandchildren. I am a very fine storyteller and keep my grandchildren spell-bound...and of course, they are always the unnamed main characters.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Although I have expressed a great interest in working with the senior clientele, I must admit that I receive great pleasure in working with first-time homebuyers from start to finish...and it all begins with a buyer's counseling session. This is an important session for it affords the buyer(s) and myself the opportunity to start on the same page from the beginning as I educate them and lead them through the home buying process.
